Wedding and Pre-Wedding Photography

I LOVE photographing weddings, and being involved in your special day.  No two weddings are the same but they are always great fun.

The whole day will be captured in a relaxed and unobtrusive way with the minimum of fuss. 

I tell the story of your day by photographing all the fun, special moments and romance of your day  in a discreet manner - you’ll often forget that I am even there!


I will also make sure I capture all the details that you have spent so long planning - the flowers, your bouquet, the car, the rings,  so that you will have a recorded and  lasting memory of the whole day.
 
It is important to me to spend some time with you beforehand getting to know you and finding out what’s important to you  on your wedding day, and noting any specific groups or individual photos you would like.
 
I also take this opportunity to take some relaxed and fun engagement photographs of the two of you, which is included in your wedding package. You will be more relaxed for the photos on your wedding day [guaranteed!] and you will also have some lovely photographs of just the two of you before you get married.

Pre-wedding Engagement Photography

Engagement shoots are a great and fun way to start feeling happy in front of the camera.

You will get some lovely photos of the two of you to mark your engagement before you get married, and it will also give you an idea of the type of images you would like on your wedding day which will help with planning your day.

I’ll do your engagement photographs  at your home, or a place special to you - maybe where you first met or got engaged?

Alternatively you can come to me and we can go and spend some time on one of the many beaches here or in amongst the bluebells or wild flowers.

Afterwards, I can provide ‘ save the day’ cards, photo books, framed prints, a signature board and canvasses for you.

A session costs from £80 and if you decide to book me for your wedding day too,  I will deduct the cost of the session from your wedding fee.

Portraits and People Photos - Families, groups and individuals

There is something special about  photographing people and getting to know them.

My emphasis is on taking photographs ‘on location’ away from the confines of the studio, using natural light to create classic and relaxed portraits with a mixture of posed and spontaneous images.

I’m happy to come up with some location ideas for you – one of the many award winning beaches  here,  local  bluebell woods,  or my own garden and  mall woodland but equally I am very happy to come to you - please let me know if you have somewhere in mind.

A typical session will last two hours -  but my time is not restricted,  so if we need longer than that, it is not a problem – I will not be rushing off to the next shoot, as  yours will be the only booking that day.

On arrival we sit down over coffee and discuss any special requirements you may have -  individual photos,  groups, horses,  dogs etc and this allows everyone to get used to me before I get the cameras out!  Then we will have a fun hour or two to get some great images.

Pet Photographs

They say never work with children and animals - but I spent 18 years photographing children for my clothing catalogue and loved it - so why leave the animals out?

We have natural light and wonderful places for walks  -  the best environment for photographing your four legged friends.

Whether running in a favourite park, or on the beach, or just playing in your garden,  I will photograph your pets to catch their personalities  and characters.

A typical session will take up to two hours -  depending on how excited your pet is!   I come armed with my camera,  balls  and  toys and a few treats!
